Designing spaces that my clients love is my passion and having the privilege to do so in the Sea to Sky community is truly a gift.

As a lifelong artist, painting, sketching and design have always been inextricably linked with my being — a cornerstone of who I am and how I express myself. However, it wasn’t until after a 20-year sales career in California’s big tech industry that I felt my creative energies calling louder than ever before, begging me to transform a long-time hobby into the focus of my future: interior design.

After two years of study at the Institute of Interior Design in San Diego, I began my own boutique residential interior design firm in California. Equipped with my natural eye for design, a keen knowledge of the industry, and a knack for project management, as well as two decades of experience ensuring client satisfaction, I had found my home in creating the perfect living spaces for others.

In 2016, my husband and I moved to Whistler to raise our children amid the endless adventure of the mountains and the inspiring people of this unique community. It was a dream that we had had since we were married here in 2002, but this magical place has since enriched our lives in more ways than we ever imaged.

  • Settling into the Whistler lifestyle — connecting with others over skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and the vibrant local arts and culture scene — I had the chance get to know the people that also call this place home. From a design perspective, this deeper community knowledge has allowed me to truly understand the values, goals, and needs of the local residents and property owners, including local workers, retirees, landlords, property managers, and part-time residents.

Dedicated to addressing these needs, Studio Jones came to fruition in 2018 to serve Whistler and the Sea to Sky area. Through my work, I have been able to connect with the local design community, developing amazing relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors alike. Further, incorporating local art, furniture, and sustainable and Canadian-made products into my work whenever possible allows me to deliver quality finished projects that are infused with the spirit of the local area.

Whether the design project is big or small, I create spaces that serve those who live, work, play, and relax in them — on-time and on-budget. I listen carefully to my clients to ensure that I capture their wants, needs, and style, providing them with spaces that are as unique as they are. Spaces that they can love for years to come.
